Mary Pat Healy
Director of External Affairs & Strategy, RYASAP
Currently, Mary Pat is working as Director of External Affairs & Strategy for RYASAP. In her role, she continues to spearhead the implementation of the Social & Emotional Learning Initiative in the Bridgeport Public Schools which aims to improve the overall school climate by working with educators, students, and their families. Additionally, Mary Pat oversees the organization’s grant writing, communications and media, while developing and implementing public relations strategies.
She has spent several decades advocating for children and families from both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she served as the Executive Director of Bridgeport Child Advocacy Coalition (BCAC). Prior to this, Mary Pat held a community relations and government liaison position for AT&T. In this capacity, she administered and directed a statewide corporate giving grant program which focused on education, technology, economic and community development, and the arts.
Over the years, she has held numerous local and regional leadership positions on legislative, technological, and executive committees at various businesses and non-profit organizations. As such, she has developed agendas on public policy issues and spearheaded numerous forums, community conversations, in order to bring about policy and systems change in both education and healthcare.
Her extensive knowledge of the Bridgeport community and a passion for the well-being of Bridgedport’s children and their families makes her a strong advocate and a valuable asset to our team.
